Why Is Today Special? 4/22/11

Peter Frampton (1950)  - He is 61 today, he is a famous rock guitarist.

John Waters (1946) - He is 65 today, he is outrageous actor/director.

Jack Nicholson (1937) - He is 74 today, he is a very famous actor.

Earth Day - is a day that is intended to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earths natural environment. Try something different today, drying clothes outside or not turning on as many lights.

Good Friday - is a day observed primarily by Christians commemorating the crcifixation of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. 

National Jelly Bean Day - is a time to enjoy gobs and gobs of jelly beans, go buy a bag a munch them down! Jelly beans date back to at least the 1860's

1056 - Supernova Crab nebula last seen by the naked eye

1823 - R J Tyers patents roller skates

1906 - New rule puts umpire in sole charge of all game balls

1966 - USSR performs underground nuclear test
